By: TERMINATOR 2 was my movie. I felt that Linda Hamilton was so intense and powerful and I just responded to that and identified with her. I was young, disenfranchised, I wanted to be Linda Hamilton. « previously [on] Janella.com

She is actually very good in this role. The first few episodes she appears to be a little nervous but she soon settles into the role.

Shirley Manson you play this role so seamlessly it's obvious that Josh Friedman was having your wardrobe tailored as you auditioned. Time has transformed a semi-precious stone into a radiant and sensual gem. If I was going to be ruffed up by a futuristic robot in a chick suit, you would learn a few things about being human that might leave you in a puddle more often than not. Your SAh-moKIN Shirl !!! ;~)

Why did you choose to sing Samson & Delilah. It was a great version of the song - a Nine Inch Nails type version. Totally different that the way has been approached by the Dead over the years and very very different from the Reverend Gary Davis. Was it supposed to represent the control that the female cyborg has other John Connor, or was it just an apocalyptic song that fit the mood of the last season.

Saw her and thought she looked familiar. She looked quite creepy and her complexion was jacked. The makeup on her eyes needs some work. I get dramatic but that looked like a perschooler's first attempt at the black eyeliner. Where's there makeup folks. She was hot back in the day so they need to bring that back without overdoing it on the pancake makeup. Try dermabrasion.I do like her character, it's definitely cold and calculated in nature. Dresses impecably! She is creepy though and seems a bit repressed...like postal repressed...what her explode. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Saw Shirley in the last couple of episodes of the Sarah Connor Chronicles. She's pretty good. She looks menacing with her red hair, very white complexion, eerie eyes and icy demeanour. The only odd thing is her strong Scottish accent. Bit disconcerting in an American TV show, but otherwise....Overall, I think she is an asset to the show.

I love Garbage and adore Shirley Manson. I am also a huge Terminator fan. This is very exciting and I can't wait for the season premiere! I jumped out of my seat when I read that Shirley was going to be on this show. My 2 favorite things together - how much better can it get?
