I must agree with Drax the the whole idea of a "prequel" diminishes the "excitement" as to how BSG-RS came to be. The only thing I'm looking forward to with the series is the "origin" of the Cylons, but based on the spoilers posted in several BSG forums...well, it doesn't exactly appeal to me. Nevertheless, I'll still make it a point to follow the new series just for the heck of it.

It would've been better if they had started off with a prequel series depicting the First Cylon War -- including the TRUE origin of the Cylons (THE ORIGINAL CYLONS! THE BEST LOOKING!) and WHY or WHAT made them rebel against humanity!

That's just my "two-cents"! :-)

Dull dull dull, this almost looks like a Dallasty clone. It's badly lit, the British Columbia locations aren't "SF" enough, they make it too contemporary and this takes me wayyy out of the story.

And what is the point of prequels anyway ? We *know* how this story ultimately ends so where is the dramatic tension ? In the characters ? What's the point of investing in them if we already know their fates ?
