It got her out from behind Roslin and allowed her to be her own person/toaster. The quickness with which Tory accepted being a Cylon was really interesting. She went from 0 to warp speed practically overnight. I think I might like Tory better as a Cylon than I did as a human. It has added layers to her character that I don't think she would have been able to achieve as the human aide to Roslin. Making Tory a Cylon was a brilliant move.
