I love Bones, next to Supernatural, it is the only show I actually watch live and even if I was spoiled, it would still totally be worth watching. Anyone who is not watching this show is crazy, spoiled or not! I can't wait for next season, anyone else hope they bring on the other anthropoligist guy that helped with Bones' Dad's case?

That sucks! I didn't get a chance to watch Bones last night either, and had I ventured on to TVGuide.com earlier today, I would have been pissed too. Actually after watching the episode, TVGuide.com was one of the first sites I checked to hear other people's thoughts on the episode. When I saw that article I sighed a sigh of relief that I had not been on the site earlier. I feel for you TVAddict.

Tsk, tsk, TV Guide. They'd better check the rules for headlines: http://www.tifaux.com/2008/03/14/a-blogger-quandry/

John,

When first off, I applaud your ability to watch hours and hours of TV per night. Seriously!

Second, when it comes to live shows, I'm with you. If you didn't watch IDOL, it happened live, you're going to be spoiled. Same for sports, award shows etc....

But in this specific instance. Having the spoiler IN THE HEADLINE is completely unnecessary. I'm find with people getting spoiled, but those who don't want to know what happened on BONES shouldn't be fearful of visiting the TV Guide homepage.

I get your beef, and while Bones isn't a huge show, can you honestly expect to go onto a popular TV-site like TVGuide.com and NOT see news about last night's episode? It's not a spoiler if they publish it after, and while most people do watch things via DVR (or PVR, as I believe you Canadians call it from your podcasts), entertainment sites can't possibly be expected to hold off. For instance, come Thursday morning: the American Idol winner is gonna be spoiled, so avoid TVGuide or any media publication, program or website until you watch it. Sadly, it's the hazzard of working as a TV critic: you have to force yourself to stay up to watch everything, otherwise it might get spoiled the next day.

That's why last night I watched Big Bang, HIMYM, GG, OTH, Bones, House and The Paper.

Wow, that blows. I am glad I got to see it real time. The mystery was pretty much the central part of the episode. Have you emailed TVGuide.com? Perhaps they can change the headline for those who don't get up so early. Still, that doesn't help you out much...
