Great storyline will not guarantee an increase in viewership. I'm okay with the stunt casting as long as they don't over do it and mess up the storyline. If this stunt casting will help the show survive, I'm willing to take it. Stunt casting is a way for HIMYM and UB get new viewers to their show hoping that they would still stick around the next episode. It's a risk But I understand your decision not to focus on the stunt casting but hopefully don't hate the shows they are just fighting for survival. Every time she delivered a line, I cringed because it was easy to tell how it was SUPPOSED to be said. I don't hate Britney, but I also don't think we should endlessly praise her for being able to coherently speak a few sentences. That being said, I wouldn't say Britney is living her "thirty minutes of fame." She's been around for years and will continue to dominate entertainment news until the day she dies. It doesn't bother me and in a day and age when there are so many choices who can blame a show for trying to get the edge? I'll watch both, and probably still enjoy them.
