Also, while I'll say that Lost is great television, I'm not sure I'm willing to just hand over the title "greatest show ever." There's been a whole lot of television over the years, a lot of it crappy, most of it mediocre, and some of it fantastic and groundbreaking. Um, what planet — or island — are you living on? I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but this site and about a billion others practically exist so that people can express opinions — including criticism — of television shows. Also, while I’ll say that Lost is great television, I’m not sure I’m willing to just hand over the title “greatest show ever.” There’s been a whole lot of television over the years, a lot of it crappy, most of it mediocre, and some of it fantastic and groundbreaking. It was huge, and I refuse to believe that by that time you didn't want to know what was coming next, that you didn't want to see Jack asking questions and finding out about that guy, etc (Plus, the second episode with the discovery of the wreckage wouldn't have worked as good, I think, in the middle of a 2 hours episode...) They seem more young and interesting, while LJ's girls seem to be portrayed rather old and boring. I dont know, both series are far fetched and I agree filled with cliches.
