my friends and I were obsessed with this show. literally. every Monday there would be about seven of us that gathered in someone's living room at around 9:45 to recap the previous Monday's episode and to watch the greatness of the current week. it was a brilliant, edge-of-your-seat show - you could hear a pin drop until the commercials, and then there would be an outburst of "WHAT?!"s and "she IS his first wife!!"s - good memories. I wish more people had known about this gem among the ruins of episodic television - maybe then it could've been saved.

WHY??? WHY ? WHY? would this be cancelled?????
this was one of only a very few shows worth watching.
Not all of us want reality TV. This was a total mind boggling show, and I LOVED IT!! I am so sad, and disgusted with NBC. It's not the shows fault that NBC lacks the ability to promote & back their own shows.

Thanks for the Ode to Journeyman. Hopefully we can a revival! This show is TOO GOOD to cancel. The compilation of the cast was great! The writing, the twists, complication relationships and the whole concept was great!

I don't understand why such intelligent shows with a large following gets axed. I want my show back!

This is ( I don't want to say "was" yet) a brilliant show with great twists on the time travel genre. Wonderfully sympathic acting and a great and totally inviting cast, not to mention the wonderful special effects made me tune in each week. The final 2 episodes that aired were filled with enough surprises that I can't wait for any of the paths the story line can take. Television would not be suffering from the dearth of creativity if well written and produced shows like Journeyman were kept on the air. Please bring this show back !

It's a shame that an excellent program like Journeyman can be so terribly mishandled (or just plain abused) by NBC, and then be allowed to quietly die. As if the program itself were to blame for its ratings, rather than NBC's complete lack of commitment to it. It was jammed in an off the wall time slot for its subject matter, had little or no promotion after the pilot, and none of the opportunities for repeat viewing that all of their other new shows got.

It's not like people watched it and didn't like it. It's that the target audience didn't even know it existed!

I really do hope the fans are successful. Journeyman is one of those very rare shows that HAS to be saved!

Thanks for this great ode to a wonderful show.

There are still strong fan efforts to convince NBC to give this show another chance at that site you mentioned.

But right now FOX isn't planning to release a DVD. I'm going to write to ask for one. kevin.reilly@fox.com

Journeyman is an incredible series, and I'm not exaggerating to say that it's the only thing that I watch on TV right now. It's intelligent, clever, thought-provoking and intriguing, so much more appealing than the masses of reality shows that are flooding the airwaves. Unfortunately, intelligence tends to be a death sentence in network series of late, and that, paired with a bad timeslot (10pm on a Monday night?? That was asking for trouble), killed this show before it had a chance to prove itself.

There is a campaign to save it, though, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the efforts of us fans will make some kind of impression on NBC, or at least on someone who can do something about keeping this show on the air, on NBC or otherwise. This show is to us what Katie is to Dan - too good to lose without a fight.

Save Journeyman!!
