But I honestly don't think that NBC News has become a stooge for its own network bosses. The news at these networks are practically a separate entity from their corporate bosses, a lot of that thanks to Edward R. Murrow. They report what they feel is news, and that's that. :) The fact that this story was leading entertainment news should say one thing. Now, whether or not it should lead the overall news -- that's another.
