"The last season of 24 was a chore to continue watching."

Perfectly worded. My thoughts exactly. I think i had about 7 episodes tivo'd long after the season ended that i was never excited about catching up on. It took weeks for me to finally watch them all cause there was always something better to watch (or do).

The last season of 24 was a chore to continue watching. The show desperately needs to re-invent intself. Believe me, I'm hoping this new season does just that. Yet the unfortunate reality is that network's don't delay productions for good reasons... there's obviously a problem that needs fixing. Here's hoping it gets fixed.

no, that's an awful idea. it's called 24, not 12. and any episode with jack bauer in it is amazing. last season may not have been as good as season 5 (which was spectacular) but it wasn't as bad as you always make it out to be.

Linda.. you've also given me a great idea for the final scene.... After a mere 16 hours of saving the world, Jack Bauer finally has the chance to (wait for it....) go to the BATHROOM!

16 hours sounds like a great idea! Start his day getting up and gettting ready for work, then end his day hitting the pillow.

Jack could really use a good 8 hours of sleep.
