Maybe you were never a teenager, but theyre extremely melodramatic and full of angsty energy. Every teen has moments where they discover love, or rebel, or think about suicide. At least its realistically depicted here. How many teens do you know who go to Tijuana and overdose on medication? None that I've ever met. . I LOVE Wicked!!! and Idina!!! haha but I have to disagree with you about Spring Awakening... true, the content may be a little... raunchy, but the songs they did on the Tony's showed just how incredible of a cast and crew they have. The show is really great and thought provoking and the people involved with the production seem like intelligent and really nice people... well their speeches were nice at least! See Spring Awakening, then go see 5 other Broadway musicals and then try to tell me that Spring Awakening isn't something incredibly special. Did any of you actually see Spring Awakening?
