I don’t buy that they didn’t have time to develop the characters. There are like 7 eps left of the season, how much more time did they need? Surely they hadn’t planned on using the last 3rd of the season developing their characters?

And also, neither were signed up for next season, Rodrigo didn’t want to do more than a season and Kiele is signed on for another ABC pilot.

From what I just read, Carlton & Damon received such an immediate and unexpected backlash from (”so-called”) fans against the pretty new duo, they never eve got a chance to develop their characters. I, for one, am just SICK of the fans complaining about every little detail, demanding this or that. And also sick of people just abandoning the show altogether. Folks, LOST is the best and most-innovative drama in TV history (name me another, if you disagree). It’s time to just trust the creators who’ve given us such a treasure, and just sit back and enjoy each hour. ABC needs to add more episodes each season, as well.

A friend at work pointed out that the DOG realized the two were still alive….he kept pulling the blanket off the bodies.

I can’t believe people liked this ep. IMO, worst episode of the season. Carlton and Damon have been preaching patience for weeks on Nikki and Paulo, because, in the end, they would become iconic characters. I’m sorry, but killing them off in a somewhat interesting way doesn’t make two of the most useless characters on TV “Iconic” to me. It just makes them lamer. I can’t believe TV Guide said this ep would have people buzzing.

I apologize for the lack of updates. For some reason, the site has been down for me for the past hour and half. I did a quasi… live blog and I’m writing up my thoughts now. I’m so sorry and rest assured I’ll be calling GoDaddy right now to yell at them!

Wow. Buried alive. I wonder if the makers of the show had that fate for Nikki and Paulo planned all along. Did they go to the trouble of introducing them just to kill them in an interesting way? Or, did they mean to use those characters for better purposes, never got around to it, and then killed them to please the fans?

amazing episode! sure they borrowed some elements from Romeo and Juliet and the Twilight Zone- but still it was a fantastic story.

Im not even mad this episode was basically filler! Nothing regarding the plot was reveled, but i was entertained the whole way
