It’s Official, THE OC’s Been Cancelled
January 3rd, 2007
theTVaddict.com has just learned from a source working on the production that THE OC was officially cancelled today by FOX. Naturally FOX is mum on the subject, but as soon as we hear something official from them, we’ll pass along the news. According to our source, the crew got the info on their call sheets today and although they knew it was coming, they’re still sad. THE OC will finish filming their final three episodes — leaving season four at a mere eighteen episodes (rather then the usual twenty-one). An unjust fate for a show that was truly on the upswing this season. As Taylor Townsend might say, “qu’une déception!”

AHHH..Just when it was getting GREAT again. Yes. GREAT. Not merely passable or good but GREAT… ACK…
Ah well. Just as well that Fox keeps its track record for killing great shows (Arrested Development, Kitchen Confidential, The Tick, etc.)
