I got to say that I am surprised that more people are not supporters of Kyra Sedgwick. The Closer is one of the best shows on television. The writing is wonderful in displaying a strong, powerful woman who can still have other layers to her. Kyra is fabulous.
Also, am I the only one who think Matthew Fox could have been nominated for best actor? Come one, he is infamous for being tough, while looking like he is going through an emotional breakdown. I love him.

am i the only one who is convinced beyonce doesn’t deserve anything.
i mean, i’ve seen her movies before- too many of them. now she gets a nomination for a movie no ones seen, i’m convinced these ppl are all in cohorts to make her a super star. even more than she is already.

Good point Tralfaz, I always forget that the Golden Globes are indeed voted by the Foreign Press. Should have seen the Masi Oka nod coming.. but really Tony Shaloub again. Who is he paying off for these endless nods. I just don’t get it.

I have to respectfully disagree with some of your choices if only because these are voted on, if I’m not mistaken, by the foreign press. I see them leaning more toward Heroes than Grey’s; I imagine they’d love Kyra Sedgwick; Hugh Laurie; I can’t quite predict the best comedy category… throwing Housewives in there is confusing… but I’d love to see them reward Ugly Betty.

BIG LOVE is fascinating and incredibly fun to watch. It’s a little off-beat, but definitely worthy of a Golden Globe Nod. Bill Paxton is Phenomenal.

I am so disappointed Masi Oka got a nod. His character, while funny, is pretty damn annoying at times.
I would have much rather seen Brown Bear Christopher Turk (aka. Donald Faison) get a nod.
