I 'm totally agreeing with everyone who is sad about not getting degrassi first here in Canada. I think that It's silly becuase its the one thing that we can claim as our own and not as a product of American television. I'm watching a rerun right now and I can deal with it ( in regards to Noggins post) how come american kids can't? As far as I'm concerned It came from canada so we should deserve the right to see it first.

For those of you upset that CBS cancelled Smith, consider filing a complaint.

With enough viewer complaints, CBS may reconsider its cancelling of the marvelous fast-paced Smith with its excellent cast including Ray Liotta, Virginia Madsen, Simon Baker and Amy Smart and the show's superb writing.

Blame it on CBS's bad marketing, its only giving the show three episodes of airtime, and CBS's lack of promoting online viewing of earlier episodes of Smith for those who needed to catch up.

CBS could have given a better re-cap at the beginning of episodes for new viewers just tuning in. It could have re-run the episodes during off-hours, much like Bravo does, to allow viewers to catch up.

To complain, call CBS viewer relations at any time day or night to leave a message, or, to reach a live person, call during the hours of 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. EST - telephone CBS viewer relations at 212-975-3247.

You may also email audsvcs@cbs.com (short for audience services).

You may also go to CBS's feedback form online to submit your complaint at http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.shtml Smith is still listed in the shows on that feedback form.

You may also sign this online petition to CBS to bring back Smith. http://www.petitiononline.com/cbssmith/petition.html

You can also vote that you thought Smith was a great show by going to the first official Smith fansite http://www.smith-on-cbs.com/ and voting on the question "What's Your Opinion Regarding Smith's Cancellation?"

Kay, I usually post under a different name but I'm staying anonymous but let me just say this: I WORK on Degrassi and I haven't even seen Season 6 yet. How sad is that? Apparently the N though bumped Degrassi up to fill their schedule (their summer shows were bombs hence all the reruns of Degrassi and thus the rush for new episodes). So it's nice to hear, just weird since I don't even know how the episodes have turned out.

I totally agree with you about Degrassi, I was so mad to find out that the US is getting the episodes first. Degrassi is a Canadian show and we are one of the reasons that it came back we deserve that episodes first. What Canadian child of the 80s did not watch Degrassi?

Dear tvaddict.

I like the idea of this blog, really. i am not a troll, really. im not a bitter bug either, really. but why haven't you guys posted anything about Dexter?!?! Possible one of the most interesting new series of the season. If you guys haven't watched it yet I suggest you do, the pilot was great. Sure it has its flaws but it seems like a really neat and promising show.

Dude, Ray Liotta is the most overrated "star" in Hollywood. Not to be mean, but his face is more pitted than an old prune, and he's just creepy. Mouth barely moves when he talks; a real one-note actor. I remember watching him on the old soap-opera "Another World" a couple decades ago, and wondering how he kept a job back then! I'm not at all surprised SMITH is cancelled. He said TV work was too much for him, and he lacks any star-power whatsoever. If ever a show was appropriately named, it was this one.

Sam, Most things are produced in the US, ie major movies and TV shows, but the one things we produce, well at least one of the things Canada produces that is internationally known - is DEGRASSI. Canadians deserve to get episodes before anyone else.

About Degrassi tvaddict, a lot of products and different things are doing that lately. Releasing first in the states rather than their native countries. I think it has more to do with the larger fanbase here in the states than in Cananda (after all, you said so yourself that it's a show nobody cares to admit they really watch there) Plus, when you do finally get in (what is it, November?) you'll be caught up quick with that whoole two episodes a week thing.
